Ways you know you exist (as I have thought of) in the digital world :

2. sims game
3. touch screens
4. digital data
5. social network profiles and views (the fascination of everyday mundane documentation)
6. comments from other people on your profile  

This is an example of what I mean declaring your existence (touching the screen and you see results). Maybe a way with instant results.
