Performance art?

I have to admit I am no big fan of performance art. Sometimes I find it really difficult to understand it and I just see people who move around, dance, shout or even harm themselves in different ways. Also I translate it the way I want without really focusing on what the artist really wants to say (well that's I guess the democracy of art). But for my topic I think theater and performance art are very close.
The body in performance is dying in front of our eyes. Unceasing process is out there in the flesh. Or hangs, perceptually, on the audience's breath.

So I came across this video on vimeo which is a quite literal interpretation of its title if you ask me. But it still demonstrates it quite nicely.
